Born from mutual admiration and a shared love for crisp, hoppy beer, this coastal collab brings Four Winds and Driftwood together for a Pilsner worth celebrating. Brewed with Field 5 barley from Vancouver Island and layered with classic West Coast hops, it offers pine, citrus and a hint of tropical fruit. A Pacific sunset in a can, best enjoyed with friends and a view of the ocean.

473ml can. Pours a clear gold with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick, sticky curtains of soapy lace. Mild aroma of crackery pale malt, lemon and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, grapefruit, grass and piney hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Quite possibly the dankest Pilsner I’ve ever had. Drinks like an APA.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear gold with a white head. Bright pine and crisp dry grass on the nose. Flavour has woody pine, dry grass, crisp cracker malts. Crisp and drinkable, really nice use of WC hops in a pilsner.

Pale gold, slight haze, weak head froths up a fair bit. Herbaceous, woody hops on the nose, mmild pale malt. The malts are okay on the palate too, leaning sweet, and the hops have a light spicy note to them. Decent pils.

473mL can, pours a mostly clear hazy blonde with a medium white head. Nose is almost more like an IPA, with big piney hops, plenty dankness, a bit of citrus peel, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is more pils-like, with piney hops, some dankness, grassy hops, and crisp crackery malt. Generously hopped, balanced well, and drinkable, though it is a bit seltzery. Good pils.
