Sessionable and effervescent, this progressive variation of traditionally tart wheat ale is brewed with gentle salinity, fermented with our house culture, and balanced with raspberries.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a champagne gold color with a finger of off-white foam that lingers. Lovely wild raspberry, mineral and slightly tartness on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Very balanced and not an acid bomb thankfully. Elegant gose which is rare for an American brewery.

On tap at Schilling Beer Co, pours a cloudy orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fresh, tart raspberries, with light lacto and a touch of salt. Flavour is really fresh, with tart raspberries upfront, followed by some citric notes, and a hint of salt. Almost no lacto character. Just a great wheaty expression of the raspberries. Excellent.

Draft at the source. Cloudy pinkish yellow color. Light berry aroma. Taste is earthy almost salty fruit. Thank god for beers that violate the Reinheitsgebot

Hazy reddish pink. Sea salt and berry aroma. Flavor is great. Just a little bit of raspberry. Not tart or acidic. Light sea salt and pineapple and herbs. Nice but I prefer the base beer flying solo.

Draught at the brewery, 3/23/18.
Pink lemonade-colored with a light cloudiness. Small, white head fades steadily to a ring.
Gosey nose still shares nicely with raspberry seed-like character. Light acidity and good mix of lactic and malic. Tons of wheatabix-like cereal character behind it, softening things nicely.
Soft and chewy with low but mostly engaging carbonation. Good bitter, seed-like character with very high attenuation on the raspberry juice. Not overly salty with crisp, lactic acid and a very dry finish. Some light salt emerges with warming and a touch of juice lingers. Loses some gose but gains great, great fruit character (in this version).

6 oz. draft at Schilling. Pours a bright pink red color with a small white head. Mild berry and sour grain nose. The flavor is weak sweet berries, very natural, a bit of funky tartness, some sweet bready malt. Mild lactic after the swallow. Solid.
