Can at birthday dinner I think only new rate on menu. Orange golden pour and white puffy head. Nose is vegetal and citrus. Tatses of orange peel, some grapefruit, green onion, clay pottery. Acidic finish. Ok
Clear pour. Bready and pine nose. Strong floral and pine flavor with malt notes. It also has flavor of citrus and lemongrass.

Very deep dark copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of bread, grass, light malts with some biscuits and a lot of yeastiness with a slight hit of floral and caramely hop notes with only a touch of alpha acid bitterness here at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong nutty and relatively caramely flavours show through first with only a touch of hops that give off a very small bitterness and some light grassy qualities, but nothing large or showing any alpha acids, but the malt and especially the yeastiness show much stronger. Aftertaste shows some bitterness and sweetness here from the caramelised sugars with only a touch of grain, but the hops, or at least the citrus components show much stronger at the end and provide a nice layer of flavour on top of the malt and sweetness. Overall, a decent enough beer that really shows more of an APA rather than even an older school East Coast IPA, but this one hits the citrus and especially the nutty/caramel flavours more than anything else. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased earlier in the day, a few hours ago, from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 04-November-2021 for US$3,32, sampled in my hotel room here in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on 04-November-2021 after eating with my family here in Disney World on 04-November-2021.

Draught at Dorchester Brewing, 9/9/21.
Clear, deep bronze-golden-honey. White head fades steadily to a ring.
Lemony-citrus hops with a dab of caramel in the nose. Creamy-sweet honey with an almost corn-like edge to it.
In the mouth it's got punchy lemon rind alongside caramel-like maltiness. Weird mix. Bit of a syrupy sweet finish. Some sourness from over-toasted malt or over-boiled hops. Unclear which. Reasonable attenuation but could still use more. Lemon acidity growing soapy to almost pine sol-like, on the finish. Not good.
