Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy copper, very thin beige head. Aroma: Malty, sweetish,caramel fudge, dark dried fruit. Taste: Malty, a little sirupy, caramel, sweetish, dark dried fruit (figs, plum). Over medium body, below average carbonation, Over medium sweet, light bitterness. Nice slow sipper, a bit on the sweet side.

Nose is dates, caramel, dates, figs, toffee, herb.
Taste comprises fruit cake, dates, mellow barrel strokes, raisins, prunes, dates, toasted brown sugars.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close topped with a mellow boost.
Tidy sipper.

Bottle thanks to Wolf. Mildy hazy amber beer, decent tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and slightly dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft smooth malts, nice caramel and cream, mild toffee. Mild mild spice in the middle. Ripe fruits, whisper of brandy soaked fruits. Airy and slightly savoury finish. Good trad barleywine. Smooth, rich and tasty.
