Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB Nov 18. Clear orange to amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of classic spicy hop and caramelly malt. Spicy and grassy bitterness, bit sweet caramel. Amber beer with classic Gulpener hop, that says it all. Decent, but a bit boring for modern standards.

Bottle. Color: Amber, thin off-white head. Taste: Malt, grain, below medium sweet, with hints of caramel and lightly hints of yeast. After a short period, some floral hopbitterness comes in. Ending with a bittery palate. Medium body, average carbonation. Rather strange but not unpleasant mix of lager, amber and pale ale.

At Café De Zwaan, Maastricht. Shared with Anke.
Pours hazy amber with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains yeast, bitter hops, grapefruit, mandarin, some citrus. It tastes light fruity sweet and light to medium hoppy bitter; bit dry & yeasty in the finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Pleasant fruity Amber.

Thuis uit een flesje, mooie amberkleur. Schuim verdwijnt snel. Lekkere smaak, maar iets te slappe nasmaak voor de abv.

Bottle shared at home. Almost clear light amber with big but short lasting light beige head. Some peach, dry malts, honey, soft weird oxidized nut powder, apricot, apple, dry grassy notes, cardboard. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with slick crisp feel. It’s a funny mix between a strong lager and a more fruity hoppy ale. Not bad.
