Pours clear, very dark redbrown. Smell is full, Sharp fruity , funk even. Taste is full, intense ,fruit, really extremely balanced yet totally paxked with flavor. Silky mf. Very Nice !!!

Bottle shared by Blomster at RBWG: Poured a burgundy with bubbles. Nice currants aroma with a light sweetness. The taste was fantastic sweet money, edgy black/red currants. So glad I got to try this amazing mead!

Pours up with a clear amber to slight purple hued body. The aroma offers up sweet honey and waxy honey comb notes as well as some berry notes and dried residual sugars. The taste is just pure lovely yum. I get smooth sweetness and flowing into nectar rich berry notes, hello, that are deep and involved. This is rich and smooth and yummy. Oh my. In the background are mild notes of waxy honey comb. This is just so good and smooth and rich. Just a deep relaxing sipper.

Sampled at Bill’s 40th fiesta party. Reddish violet appearance with no head. Tons of berries and cherries in the nose and mouth. Goeey. Not crazy sweet. A lot of different fruit notes playing off each other. A bit twangy. Super easy to drink and delicious. Tried again at RBWG. Quite a bit of tannins. Thanks Timo and Christer.

Bottle. Thanks, Timo! Almost clear, deep burgundy/ruby liquid with no head. Aroma of honey, warming alcohol, almond, blackcurrant, light licorice, cherries and light vanilla. Tasteis medium sweet to high sweet (as sweet as some of the Schramm’s I’ve had but not as crazy as some Polish stuff) with notes of cherries, black and red currant, flowers, orange, cranberries, light honey and port wine. Full bodied with no carbonation and quite sticky mouthfeel. Not as crazily sticky as some other sweet meads, so quite drinkable for what it is. Aroma is a bit boozy, but the taste is remarkably clean. Super good, though the berry character isn’t as pronounced in the aroma as I expected. The taste though... Wowe. World class.

Bottle. Pours a deep reddish color with no head. Has a fruity spicy black currant and cherry aroma. Spicy smooth berry black currant cherry flavor with spicy honey hints. Has a spicy smooth berry black currant and cherry finish with spicy hints of honey. Very well balanced.

Bottle 25 cl at 2015 Sweet & Sour.13% ABV, 2015.Slight bit hazy reddish brown color, no head, some legs. Sweet, alcohol, berries, raspberry scent. Sweet, nuts, honey, alcohol, berries taste. Sweet, alcohol aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, no bitterness, slight bit tart finish.
