Bottle shared at home, cellared this one for almost exactly 2 years. Black pour with a beige head. Nose is intense dark chocolate, espresso notes, light earthy character. Slightly oxidized. Taste is sweet, showing notes of dark malts, coffee, chocolate, light earthy notes, dried fruits and molasses, with slight notes of oxidization. Closes with a roasty, chocolatey sweetish malty finish, has a medium to big, nice and smooth body and soft carbonation. Dont know how it is when fresh but this bottle was nicely rounded, smooth and fairly complex.

February 2025, batch 6:
Pitch black body, off-white head. Creamy aroma, some dry black maltiness and citric touches as well, pleasant! Creamy taste, dark malts playing again, but with the citric hoppy touches again and, weirdly, something that reminded me of peach, ending with a light bitterness. I was enjoying it quite a fair bit! I love it when Potoka's on a roll!
December 2019, batch 4 or 5.
Bottle at Vršovická Galerie Piva (thanks Matija!). Almost pitch black body, tan head. Lovely aroma, chocolate notes, oily, maltiness. And then it starts the same and for a second the lovely sweet chocolate shows up... before going towards a burnt odd grainy note that doesn't fit in well... and then the finish saves it, the sweetish aspects of the maltiness making a last second dash again. Ah... dunno, close but not really on point. 8/8/6/8/7

Tap in Beer Geek Bar. Quite rich malty feeling, loads of chocolate, dried fruits, prune, raisins. Rather sweet. Good one.

On tap at Beer Geek, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out rich roasted malt, with a touch of cocoa. Flavour is a bit chalky, with medium roasted malt, a touch of powdered cocoa, and earthy chalk. It's nicely structured but the chalkiness is a bit of deterrent for me. Decent.

Doesn't taste like it has high alcohol content. Seems like a regular stout. It is clean, and almost no hop bitterness, but also not a lot of big stout flavours beergeek prague
