Frothy fair mostly diminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Nearly clear golden, white head. Mild malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet hoppy and malty flavour, sweet citrusy.

15/10/2025. Draft at Nur Restaurant, Tirana. Worty. Not great. (Edit - this name is how it’s listed on the Beer House Lushnjë menu and on UT but I’m not convinced what I or UT’rs had was from there. Need to try to validate). 18/10/2025. As I suspected the beer on UT everyone including me checked in “Kriko E Madhe” is not brewed by Beer House Lushnjë. It just means “Draft Big” or something like that. I suspected what I had at Nur was Peja or similar. So I’ve come out to Beer House Lushnjë and they brew a house beer just for the restaurant. It’s in the menu as Birre Kriko e Madhe (Big Brew Beer) or Birre Kriko e Vogel (Small Brew Beer). Either/or it’s the same house beer just in different sizes. It has no name. It’s just the house brewed beer, brewed in the brewery next door (which I persuaded the waiter to let me check out just to validate and sure enough it exists). As for the beer, it’s a good pour, clear, deep golden amber with a small white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, a little caramel, citrus, bready edge. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. It’s a perfectly drinkable house lager. Glad I took the effort to come here and try it.
