Bottle split at Himmeriget, CPH, massive thanks to Reuben for the re-mortgage on this juan 12/08/16. Pitch black with a tan swirl that dissipates to spotting. Nose is light peppery spice, orange peel, big cognac wafts, dark chocolate, sprucey wood. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, cinammon, Jamaica ginger cake, black pepper, fruit loaf, ligh roast, toasted brown sugars, molastic, herbal edge. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close and a light green pepper kick. Solid BA impy affair.

Bottle shared with the gang at Himmeriget Copenhagen (where else?) - 11th rated Mexican cake variant ticked off! - black pour with tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with the usual base of warming spice, rich cocoa, caramel, fudge, lovely vanilla nuances coming into play, resonating cognac infused wooden notes into the close. Immense.
