On tap @ BPBW Saturday session. Jet black, no head. Coffee, earthy notes, a faint touch of sweetness. Well made, but nothing outstanding.

0.33l bottle as Imperial Stout 2017. Black body with a thin light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, orange jam and a bit of black tea. Taste of chocolate, black tea, pepper, floral hops and roasted malts with some earthy notes. Nice RIS.

Flasche gekauft beim Craftbier-Fest im Herbst 2018 in Wien. Es ist ein sehr gehaltvolles, pechschwarzes Bier aus Ungarn voller Geschmack. Es kommt eingangs mit typisch malzigen und herben Aromen à la Stout, welche sich schnell aufspielen und dann in einer Explosion an Holz- und Fruchtaromen entladen. Mir ist es fast schon zu viel, aber das Bier ist wirklich gut.

Sampled from tap at BPBW 2018. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of licorice, dark chocolate and a touch of coffee. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of licorice, dark fruits and dark chocolate, followed by a medium long, roasty-bitter, slightly earthy and a rather warming finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Draft at BPBW2018. Dark brown color light tan head. Cocoa and coffee aroma. taste starts sweet then lightly earthy coffee. Nice.
