Has a bit of wheat flavor, but also kind of…sour? Second wheat beer from Lithuania I’ve had lately that doesn’t REALLY taste like a wheat beer.

Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com) Stylowa butelka z licznymi grawerami, kryje stylowe piwo pszeniczne, dobrze doprawione kolendra, nieco bananow, Wyraziste, niezbyt przytlaczajace, nie za ciezkie, do niedzielnego objadu w sam raz, Co do piany to zdecydowanie wieksza sie tworzy i trwalsza od wiekszosci witbirow jakie przyszlo mi poznac.

22/6/2020. Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy yellow gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, herbal, grassy, ripe banana, and a touch of sulphur. Quite sweet, with light bitterness and a slight tart edge. Quite fizzy too. Moderate body. Herbal side dominates. It’s ok but that’s all.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Hazy light amber with a smaller head. Feels a little understated in its wheat character, but this does grow a little in its aftertaste with banana flavours at their best here. Some in nose.

Supermarket bottle, AirBnB on laundry day in Vilnius. Hazy to cloudy yellow color white head. Aroma of light citrus. Taste is lightly metallic citrus, maybe some banana.
