Teenage Jesus is our riff on an English ordinary bitter. Mashed with a base of pale English malt, flaked barley, CaraMunich and a portion of caramelized oat malt, we then hop this little bitter with East Kent Golding, Challenger and Comet hops. Once Teenage Jesus has cooled down we pitch our favorite English ale strain and allow it to ferment before spunding to naturally carbonate.

Aromas are malt, toast and a little bit of toffee. Flavors are similar to nose and bittersweet. Add in a touch of hops. Not bad but had better.

Canned 12/16/25, drunk 1/16/26, as pictured.
Smells rich and fruity with tons of caramel backing it up. Bit of toast, but nothing too bready or sour. The caramelized oat almost smells like marshmallow or even light tootsie roll.
Comes off more traditional in the mouth but you still get that sweet, caramelly-oat-mallow character which is balanced by a pinch of toast, bread and soft, floral and grassy hops. Richly malty and flavorful well, well beyond its size, with a clean, fruity finish with lovely malt and hop tones lingering, as well. This must be otherworldly on cask....

16oz can from Tavour. Brown pour into dimpled mug; small beige foamy head. Malty aroma, nutty, notes of chocolate. Taste follows with bold malty, nutty flavors and minor bitterness. A touch dry also

Can from Tavour. Pours ruddy mahogany with a transient tan head. Aroma of light caramel/toffee with floral, citrus and a strange hint of pineapple. Med body. Somewhat malty, but towards dry. Moderately bitter. Flavor goes with the aroma, xpt the pineapple is gone. Pleasant.
