Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is a balanced blend of malt and fermentation notes. Nice cracker malt, wheat and rye notes with some hints of bread. Light apricot and lemon notes with hints of peppery, earthy phenolics.
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized, moderately thick, pillowy, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing and faint legs.
Flavor is a bit acidic with light malt sweetness. Light cracker malt, bread, rye and wheat notes. Medium light bitterness and light alcohol notes. Under ripe stone fruit and lemon notes. Slightly floral with earthy, peppery phenolics.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a decent saison. Nice SARA funk, but I think oak treatments compliment it better than stainless steel. A touch more acidic than I would prefer.
