We brewed this special IPA to commemorate the establishment of the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. We incorporated Maine-grown barley and wheat, along with generous amounts of hops with flavors and aromas of pine and citrus, reminiscent of the outdoors. Cheers to Mother Nature and all she provides us!
Flavor Profile: Aromas of melon, pineapple, and pink grapefruit. underlying notes of onion and garlic with subtle pine and a faint malt grain sweetness
Hops: Magnum, Simcoe, Mosaic, Columbus, Idaho 7
Malt: American 2-Row, Blue Ox Pale, Blue Ox Wheat, Blue Ox Vienna

Slight haze on a golden beer with a white head. Pine, mango, citrus fruit, grass, resin. Medium bodied. Finish has a healthy amount of bitterness and is somewhat dry. This is a superb beer.

Oh wow this is like a blast from the past. Pale golden, dry as heck, crisp, crackery malts, bitter resin and citrus rind hop profile, its a classic IPA. Medium bitterness. I don't have a lot to say because its so simple and straightforward, but its just so damn refreshing to find an IPA like this instead of all the creamy/juicy/hazy weird shit out there. Bottled August 20th 2024 and found in Central Florida on 9/7/24, that's a fresh bottle to make it this far!

500ml bottle. Clear golden pour, fine white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pine, citrus. Taste offers light grapefruit, lemon, fir, grassy. Mellow sweet bitterness lingers throughout. Resiny, mild astringency.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured clear yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light floral and tropical fruit notes. Pleasant piney hops, with mild bitterness. Really juicy, really easy to drink. Another solid Maine beer.

Bottle @ our apartment in Dennis Port. Hazed golden orange appearance with a white head. Great IPA, good leafy pine, nicely bitter with a good juicy hoppiness.

Bottle from Harvest. Pours a clearish straw gold with a full two fingers of white, rocky head. Lots of Simcoe in the nose with dank pineapple, wild berry and cantaloupe notes. Dry on the palate with light pine, pith and dried citrus. Drying finish. My kind of IPA.

Bottle, 500 ml in Austin. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Quite bland, bitterish, some fruity citrus notes. Moderate carbonation. Medium bodied. Expected more.

Aromas has change around a bit. At first, I got fresh citrus hops with some pear, weed, resin and background is malt. After that I got more resin and weed. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, really fresh bittersweet citrus and resin hops with just right carbonation, good body and excellent finish. Very good beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear slightly bright yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some earthy grass and citrus with a bit of pine and a bit of a bready backbone. Flavor has a good amount of grass, with light earthy pine, a bit of citrus rind and a touch of grain backing.
