tap at Trion (Feb 17, 2012) - Pours dark ruby red with a very small lingering head. It has a good, sour, fruity aroma. The flavor is tart and fruity that’s also somewhat sweet and funky. It’s medium bodied and leaves a tart aftertaste. What we have here is a very tasty, balanced sour beer.

22 oz bottle, vintage 2010. Pours brown with an off-white head. Nice citric sour aroma, cherry, oaky. Flavor leads with a moderate sourness, cherry, raspberry, again some oak notes. A really nice, straightforward sour here.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a small foamy tan head that left some lacing. The aroma was tart berries and faint vinegar. The flavor was very tart with a moderate note mixed berries and a touch of oak. The finish was long with lingering tart berries. Medium body. Remarkably refreshing.

Bottle (13: 2010) via a trade with drfabulous. Tasted blind among many sours. Pours with a hazed red-bronze body and an off-white head. Aroma is fruity, vinous, oaky with some berries and tannins. Flavors are a bit waxy, fruit, caramel and vinous with a tart finish. Medium bubbles. Feels a bit heavy.
