12oz bottle pours out cola brown with no head. Nose is light cherries oak barrel. Tatse is more of the nice sweet cherries oak and a kick of tartness.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy brown, with a medium, foamy, tan head. Oak and tannic red wine, with cinnamon, tart cherries, caramel, and brown sugar. Sweet and vineous, with a mild, pleasant sour bite. Medium to heavy body, with a sticky, acidic mouthfeel. This is a wonderful sour. Delicious and complex, but surprisingly easy.

Touch of haze, medium brown. Not much head. The nose shows me harsh acetic, barrel character with sort of an apple/pear note. Softish body, the acetic is less than harsh...I like those fruity notes but ultimately this is pretty sharp, not sure I’d drink more than one. I respect the complexity, though.

12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of red wine barrels, wood, balsamic vinegar and tart red fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with red wine barrels, balsamic vinegar, pretty puckeringly tart red fruits, and a touch of vanilla. Finishes tart, woody and acetic, though a little too much on the vinegar. Nicely done stuff.

Bottle. Tangy, acidic nose with vinegar, balsamico, cherries, chocolate, caramel, green apples. Huge, lovely nose. More malty chocolate and caramel come in the flavor, a bit of a surprise, lots of tart fruits, vinegar. Lovely stuff.

Medium deep brown, slightly translucent color. Fantastic nose that shows sour, oak, port and green apples with balsamic notes. The mouth is intensely sour with lots of balsamic, oak, cherry, raspberries and Apple notes. Fantastic depth. Medium body that puckeringly sour. Long lingering balsamic, raspberry, port with lots of oak. Amazing.
