12oz bottle pours an opaque black with a ring of beige head. Nose has smoke, burnt caramel, barrel, some marshmellow. Flavor has alcohol, port, chocolate, caramel. Oily, hot finish.

A bit shallow and lacking for an Imperial Stout, missing the deeper chocolate, anise, and dark fruit notes you want in the style, instead offering up brief flashes of cocoa and bourbon before settling into a dry, overly oaked finish. Rum gives a hint of sweetness but also a heavy booziness that doesn't pair all that well with the medium body and overcarbonated feel. Coconut comes through in the fade, but this pint's in dire need of some indulgent heft. Pours a dark, dark brown with a thin tan head and modest lacing. Nose promises much more rum, coconut, and chocolate than we actually get. Texture's a drag, too boisterous and thin for a big stout. Eh.

On tap at Fall, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is rich, with lots of bourbon and rum upfront, accentuated by the coconut. Flavour is very rich, with lots of rum and coconut upfront, followed by light bourbon. Very boozy, with plenty of rum. Rich and flavourful despite a rather abrasive body. Yummy.

Draft at the source for RBSG 2018. Dark brown color. Earthy espresso aroma. Taste is earthy cocoa and coffee dry finish. Extra points for the name

Draft - Roasty, some anise and molasses. Jet brown with a brown head. Dark chocolate roast with some syrup and coffee.

12oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is coconut vanilla coffee bourbon barrel notes and some smoke. Taste is more of the bourbon barrel notes coconut and chocolate.

Bottle. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has dark grain and rum barrel with some chocolate and a bit of coconut underling. Flavor has dark grains and roasted malts with some rum and a bit of vanilla/coconut backing.
