Bright and refreshing, this pale ale bursts with citrus and tropical fruit aromas, with hints of lime and melon. A crisp grapefruit bitterness is balanced by a smooth, light malty base, with a touch of coconut for a summery twist. A long, zesty finish makes it the perfect beer for sunny days.

Bottle from Co-Op in Kirkby Stephen. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white candy sticks, dried orange peel and crushed paracetamol. Flavour of grapefruit and celery. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Crisp and nicely hopped. If I had to guess, I’d say there’s Amarillo hops in this.

Tasty and easygoing overall. Lightly sweet. Some biscuity pale malts, mild citrus notes, a little hay, pale bread, lemon pith. Highly drinkable.
