A Hazy DIPA with Nelson Sauvin hops.

"Reflections is a Hazy DIPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops. Five different lots of Nelson from Freestyle Hops and Clayton Hops creates a beautifully complex hop profile using just one variety. I get loads of grapefruit, gooseberries, white wine, passion fruit and some white pepper notes."

Can from Left Field Beer. Light hazy pale orange. Thin foamy white head. Aroma combines citrus with a with a punchy more resinous and spicy streak. Flavourwise it had big fruit that has some sweetness but manages a suitable restraint, with a more overt edge combining resin and citrus. Malts. All quite chewy. Medium bodied. Creamy. Soft carbonation with delicate fizz. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Berkeley, tama on hyva. No umlauts.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Nelson brings a savoury hop streak. Decent gooseberry and a little grape. Finishes smooth with some hop spice coming through. Decent NS by modern standards.
