Pours a clear deep dark gold with a solid 1 " head of foam that lasts lasts. Great lacing.
The smell IIs toasty, hoppy, Malty, boozy. Mostly of toasted malt.
Big toasted malt up front. For being dry hopped, it is not very hoppy. The barrel aging shines nicely. The alcohol is definitely up in my face but I can deal with that.
Pretty thick mouthfeel.
I dtk know. I have mixed y aboot a dry hopped DIPA that is barrel aged. I guess it works ok in this case.
