Tap, Ocean Beach. Dark brown, medium beige ehad, quite lasting. Dry fruits and soy sauce, mildly biscuity aroma. A bit smelly. Slightly roasty and mildy sweet. Very watery body.

27th May 2015: on Nitro tap at Carlsbad Pizza Port. Black body, tan coloured foam on top. Malts rule the nose and flavour, very dry on the tongue and sadly a little watery on the palate. OK but lacked oomph.

Creamy head, very dark brown color. Bakers chocolate with a big roastiness. Smooth, bakers chocolate, but not overly complex. About the same level as Guiness. Not bad.

Nitro dispense at PP Carlsbad, 21/04/14. Light black teams up with extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized light tan covering, good lacing ensues. Nose is light roast, cardboard, toffe, metallic nip, light cocoa tones. Taste comprises cocoa, mineral notes, sweet pangs, toffee, light roast. Lighter end of medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok dry stout.

Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours dark brown with a tight, creamy tan cap. Lots of ashy roast in the nose, some burnt toast, cocoa. Light sweet flavor with charred wood, lightly bittersweet cocoa, mild earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, somewhat creamy carbonation. Lightly drying in the finish with bits of chalky cocoa, ash, dirt. Not bad, though certainly simple.
