Slot's Pære Cider

Elegant, vinous and full of character, slightly dry, refreshing Pear Cider, which is suitable for a welcome drink, warm evenings on the terrace, fish, shellfish, cheese, etc. Frydenlund Slots really good offers for a Cremant, Cava, and of course finished in the same way as Champagne - remuage process -, where fermentation process number 2 takes place in the bottle to produce carbon dioxide, thereby creating the unique bubbly bubbles that delight and last a long time.

Contains 75 cl. 7% Vol.

Panda from danlo, cheers Ed. Very pale gold with minor opaque bubbles. Sweet pear, pear skins, mild tartness, gentle acidity, low tannins. Medium body with lighty spritzy carbonation. It's a bit sweet for me.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 07/09/2025.
Pale faded out yellow with a fast escaping white head.
Nose is mellow pear, tannins, hedgerow, herb, light honeysuckle.
Taste comprises pear juice, sugars, tannins, herb, vinous.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close.
Okay perry if perhaps a little sweet edged for my liking.

750ml wired cork bottle from Country Market, Fredensborg. Opened with a pop. Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived fizzy white head and aroma of pear, with alittle skin and funk. Taste is sweet, tart, peary, skin, some earthy yeasty funk, and slick acidity. Medium bodied, high fine spritzy carbonation, sweet & drying tart finish. Quite drinkable
