Can. Light mahogany beer with a tan head. Smoke and light caramel aroma. Nice smoke flavor with light caramel and light mineral notes. Medium bodied. Nice smoke lingers with light caramel.

Not bad, a bit too much of a floral finish from the hops, but the caramel and apple notes are nice, and the deep veins of smoke are hearty without growing overbearing. If only the back end was a little toned down.

Pour is a dark brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma is a nice smoke. Not bacon bomb level but just there. Flavor is more of a roasted nut than a smoke but on the back end you get a little ham and bacon meatyness. This is a smoked beer for someone looking to try the style without getting their palate wrecked. Just enough smoke to make it a bit more flavorful than the usual dunkle.

Can. Pours a near clear amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a rich smoke with a bit of sweet grains and a hint of biscuit underlying. Flavor has a great smoke note throughout with a light sweetness in the finish.

Amber-brown. Not much head. On the nose, this is rich and smokey. Pretty big body, lots of toffee in the body, providing a base for a rich smokeyness.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, bottle
Dark amber colour to mahogany, medium head. Intense aroma of smoke, schinken, malt. Perfect balance of caramel and smoke, slightly roasty in the finish, some burnt sugar.
If it didn't have that burnt sugar in the finish this would be a perfect knock off of the master Urbock.
Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber / burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of smoked meat and some caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of smoked meat, a touch of ash, and bready caramel. Smoky and meaty. Good stuff.
