Weizen - Hopfenweisse Series|

The first beer we created in our wheat series. This brew style is a hopfenweisse, which features the flavor of banana and clove, as seen in a traditional German Hefeweizen, but with a citrus/tropical fruit finish from dry hopping with Amarillo, BRU-1 and Citra.

Brewery draught, 7/4/25.
Hazy/cloudy golden-maize with a firm, small, white head.
Weizen character is front-and-center but does allow room for a tasteful dry hop. Some fruit, wood and berry-like notes complement nicely. Peppery, lightly clovey yeast and nutty wheat.
Similar flavors with the light banana, creamy/nutty wheat and peppery, clovey yeast hitting first. After effects of light grapefruit, orange, mango and mild berry adding more complexity and keeping it nice and dry. Good body/texture/attenuation.
