A golden ale with no head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light fruity esters, light cloves, pleasant. In mouth, a nice candy sugar with light alcohol warmth, light cloves, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

A very slight haze to start with, golden with nice tiny-bubble carbonation, a white cap, decent stay and some lacing spots. Belgian aromas with spices, banana-wheat notes, mild sugars and some alcohol that eventually comes out. The mouthfeel has a touch of stickiness, but nice light dryness in the finish, with the alcohol just adding a warming touch. Hints of grassiness in the back, but not overpowering. Flavours of spicy malts and apples. Was not expecting this brew to be so close to a real Belgian Tripel, but it. Well brewed!
