A very slight haze, amber colour with a frothy, light-beige head, good retention and full, thick fluffy-foamy lacing. Fruity malt aromas, mild caramel, hints of farm scent from the deeper, grassy hops in the background. The hops show up more in the taste, lasting a while, creating a nice light, building dryness. Caramel malts linger. Quite a nice strong English ale that goes down very nicely, and hoppier than usual giving a nice dryness to cut the richness.
