On tap at Southern Tier - Cleveland, pours an ugly opaque rusted reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma is full of cinnamon and lactose galore — balanced pretty decently. Flavour is very sweet, tasting like a liquid cinnamon bun. There's tons of cinnamon and tons of lactose without being too sweet or too spicy. I guess if you're gonna make an imperial cinnamon ale, this is how you'd do it. But why do it? Fine for an ounce or 2.

On tap at Dive 106. Pours brown. Cinnamon, sweet icing, dough, toffee, strong cinnamon. Medium body. Fine.

Tap at bowsers, thot I did this one already. A darker brew. Smells like some kind of sweet cinnamon cookies. Taste is flat and bitter with too much of that holiday spice thing going on, comes across as quite rude on the palate. Not good, just too much spices. Seems more like a medicine. Difficult to finish. Good example of a poorly made holiday brew, whew.

Pours a hazy brown from a tap, tan head. Sure can smell that cinnamon! Some lactose too even in the nose. Tastes a lot like a cinnamon roll, cinnamon, vanilla, lactose, and some faint breadiness. Sweet and spicy. A little too sweet for my taste. Can’t imagine drinking a 6 pack but glad I tried it. Pretty good beer.

Draft: Clear, dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma is spot-on cinnamon roll..... Tastes just like one, too.... Sweet, sticky, rich....a slight bit of raw syrup-like bitter. Very good.

(Tap) clear, very bright orange amber colour with a small cream head; aroma of cinnamon rolls; thick palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish. Beer names often have little in common with flavour and aroma; but this one IS a cinnamon roll in beer form

Bottled 10/10/17, shared by TJ on 12/9/17.
Clear, dark amber body is topped by a very small, off-white head that fizzles out quickly.
Smells like a wallop of cinnamon and raisin; like cinnamon raisin oatmeal, actually. Almost exactly. So good job with that, I guess? Not boozy, surprisingly, yet it certainly smells like it's going to be very sweet. Very little in the way of any beer aromatics.
In the mouth it's just a monstrous amount of cinnamon. Dry, astringent and overdone, growing sweet on the finish. Lightly syrupy though not boozy. Other than the syrupy sweetness, it's actually quite thin, with an undermalted texture and low carbonation.

As expected, strong and pronounced cinnamon nose, cake and brown sugar also present. Cloudy brown, headless, a good amount of silt poured from the bottom of the bottle. Perfumey cinnamon, very strong and rather unpleasant. Sweet cake underneath, clove and figs. Medium body, easy carbonation. In typical Southern Tier style, this is intense and in your face. That works fine for marvelous beers like Choklat and Creme Brulee, but cinnamon can easily be overdone. Ask anyone who has done the Cinnamon Challenge. Now that's a better name for this beer!

Bottle thanks to Brian. I was looking forward to this as I like Southern Tier's take on the pastry stout. Pours clear hazel, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is HUGE cinnamon, oddly icing - really strong notes of Cinnabon sugary icing. This really does last like a fucken' cinnamon roll. Flavor is big time sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Pretty much the definition of a pastry beer. Its not gross, but its so over the top that its hard to imagine it scoring so well.
