Quite Something is a golden sour beer aged in French Bordeaux wine barrels. Fermented with a collection of special microorganisms, this beer presents subtle notes of oak with nuances of crisp grapes and fresh berries. Complex and refined, these flavors dance somewhere between beer and wine.

750ml bottle pours a crystal clear, buttery yellow with just a little white head. Natural wine, apricots and fresh oranges on the nose. Big body for 5%. Creamy like Chardonnay. Apricots and white orange. Juicy. Loads of Bordeaux. 9 3 9 4 15

Bottle courtesy of mybestfriend. Pours hazy vibrant deep yellow with a frothy and fizzy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and funky with crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, yellow tropical fruits, lychee, grapes, rose hips, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is heavy sour, fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, mouth-puckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with mixed citrus juice, yellow tropical fruits, fleshy grapes, wood, minerals, barnyard and lemon zest. High acidity mouthwatering sour. Complex tropical fruit, grape and barrel notes. Great beer!
