Cloudy brown pour, with hints of red, and very little heat. Very woody aroma, light vinegar, and some hints of stone fruit. Watery mouth feel, carb is very low, beer is almost flat. Finish is quite tart, hints of funk. Light view our notes, and lots of earthy wood, and slightly sweet barrel. As it warms it gets yeasty, with some wet paper flavours in the end. Tartness fades, more fruit comes forward.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25 July 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with caramel, sour red fruit and hints of brett. Malty, spicy taste with notes of dried orange peel, apricots, caramel, spicy yeast and a balanced acidity in a finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, with a well balanced sourness. Nice one.
