On tap at Maui Brewing - Waikiki, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma reveals toasted bready malt and a touch of woodiness. Flavour is sharp, with toasted bready malt, seltzery notes, and strange hoppy bitterness. A bit too grainy and gritty. It's alright.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear mahogany color with a thick khaki head and great retention. Fair lacing. Piney hops aroma. The flavor is also mostly piney hops with very little malt flavor, a little caramel, and a soft bitter finish. I'm not getting any tropical fruits. Tastes more like a pale ale to me. Medium carbonation and medium body.

Can. A- Malty, white pepper, A- Dark red copper color, clear color, off white color. T- Malty, black pepper, subtle wood, caramel, toast. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Haven't had a decent amber ale in some time. This one despite being well past the best by date hit the spot. Not something I want to sit down and crush but it was a nice break from all the heavy stuff I've had lately. Didn't love it but nice change of pace.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours ruddy copper with a whitish head. Med body. Flavor is mildly roasty malt in an amber way. It’s somewhat fruity and a bit spicy. It certainly does not have an annoying chocolate aspect I find in some ambers. Fairly good.
