330ml can. Pours gold brown. Grapefruit, cereal, nectarine, slightly metallic, pear. Medium body. Not particularly great.

Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, pepper and soap. A typical session IPA with plenty of grapefruit in the mouth, plus a little funk but very little in the way of malt.

Bottle shared at Hair of the dog, Phrom Phong. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of huge caramel malt, way too much for the style, citrus, tropical fruits, orange peel and woody bites also coming out. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with a juicy resinous hop coating palate and soft carbonation.

From 500ml bottle: very floral and citrus nose. Excellent flavour balance with a decent punch of resiny fruit notes/. I could certainly spend an evening on this.

From a 500ml bottle on 13/5/2015. Pours a dark clear golden with a biggish head. The nose is fruity, malty and a touch metallic. Flavour wise, you get caramel malt, sweet citrus fruit, and a firm hop bitterness. Light bodied with relatively lively carbonation. Very flavoursome for 4.7% but there’s something about it that doesn’t quite hit the spot. Pretty good but curiously not overly sessionable.

Bottle. Bright amber with a white head. Aroma of passionfruit, oranges, grapefruit, pine, peach, pepper, a little bread. Very fruity but not fruit salady. Light bodied. Some peach and bready sweetness, but pretty dry and gets drier at the moderately bitter finish. Lovely melange of citrus and tropical fruits, some pine and pepper. Another very nice pale ale from Epic.
