The Gray's of Halstow Farm have been producing Devonshire cider since the 1600's. Halstow Natural - named after an apple orginally found on our farm represents a limited release of Gray's Devon Cider. This unique apple is blended with others, like Sweet Alford. Fair Maid of Devon, Beef Appe, PIgs Nose, and Dabinett to create an exceptional cider smoothness & mellow fruitiness. These apples are grown exclusively on the hillsides of three surrounding parishes and we maintain our orchards naturally by grazing them as part of the wider agricultural system.

Sample courtesy of Cheeseboard, cheers Simon! Orange golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruit, wood, funk. Taste is sweetish, appley, juicy, fruity, caramel, slightly tart, with orchard floor, leather, farmyard funky and some bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, drying tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
