Pump The Brakes

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Mahogany brown colour, biege foam head and aroma of maple syrup, malt, biscuity, roasty. Taste is sweet, roasted, malty, biscuit, maple syrup, with ash hints, and earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty ashy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Chestnut brown topped with a good sized beige cap that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is dark malts, stewed fruits, biscuit, light varnish.
Taste comprises tangy dark fruits, hint of toffee, brown bread, dusty hops.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so affair … a little overly tangy.

Can from the brewer's own stall at Farnham Farmers' Market. Dark brown with a beige head. Sweetish, presumably from the maple syrup although I didn't get the maple flavour itself. Chocolate hints, a light roasty note and then pine in the gently drying finish. The pine doesn't really go with the sweetness, and it's a tad on the thin side. Pretty average overall.

Can ordered from the brewery. Opaque chestnut brown. Thick foamy light beige head. Aroma has roasted malts. Hints of spice. Feint underlying berries low key maple syrupsweetnes.. Combines or maybe plays-off sour berries with coffee. Vestigial sour milk. Develops sweet caramel into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent and certainly superior to the other beers I've had from this new local brewery.
