1 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Kevin, Niels & Cynthia! Hazy yellow, lasting, frothy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of peach, white nectarine, apple peel, wheat, yoghurt, mandarin. Taste has sweetish apple & peach with sour citrus accents on a wheaty, yoghurty malty body. Bitterness has grapefruit, stonefruit & herbs. Dry, piney-floral hoppy finish, lingering grapefruit, peach & spices. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice hop bomb with wheaty touches.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, peaches, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Mango and citrus in the grassy aroma. Firm grassy yeasty hopbitter flavor with tropical fruit. Pleasant, well made, maybe a bit thin, but with a fine herbal finish.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy deep golden beer with a huge good lasting white head. Aroma of intense bitter hops, wheat, coconut. Taste of intense bitter hops, citrus, coconut, wheat, long bitterness.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow with a huge, frothy white head. Smells herbal, very floral, soapy. Tastes soapy, herbs, buttery, doughy, toffee. Calling this an Imperial IPA should be a crime. Totally unbalanced. I expected better from this brewery I guess. Medium body, medium carbo, dry.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een dunne witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat tropical geur. De smaak is hoppig, bitter met op de achtergrond wat tropical fruit.
