Handpull cask at the Brown Cow, Mansfield. Light coppery brown, clear with a small but thick beige head. Booked sweet dominates the aroma, with grassy notes and some stone fruit. Taste is sweet at first: candy-laden, some floral touches. It then turns to an intense bitter with strong iced tea and a drying finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. An odd one, this. I don't live it but I don't kind it, and it's nice to try something that isn't the same old every time.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 20th July 2025. Coppery amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma. Overripe soft fruits in-mouth with caramel maltiness. A finish of orchard fruits, some grains and breadiness. Smooth mouthfeel, almost on the watery side, and a light body.
