Donkerbruin bier met mooie lichtbruin schuimkraag die helaas wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet met wat chocolade, vanille, rood fruit en wat geroosterd graan. Heeft een prettig romig mondgevoel.

330 ml bottle. Pours almost black with moderate bubbly tan head that settles quickly and leaves a surface film. Aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla, a little smoke and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with more emphasis on sugars and smoke.

21/XI/25 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: II/2030, P624 (2025-1321)
Clear dark deep brown beer, pretty big creamy brown to beige head, a little stable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: cough syrup, overripe blueberries, very roasted, overripe banana, sickening sweet impression, not very inviting, quite some alcohol in the nose as well. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty roasted, chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee grit, very bitter, a bit malty, sourish touch. Aftertaste: some caramel, a bit sweet, quite some alcohol, good roast, chocolate notes, sourish finish, almost like it’s infected, not very good.
