Bottle at a tasting. Very festive cinnnamon character evocative of medovniky. Chilli is cleanly present, in moderate intensity. Vanilla light. Very rich character, both intense and diverse. Full bodied, med-light carbonation. Chilli heat hits the sweet spot for me. Very tasty, excellent beer.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino. Al naso note di cioccolato fondente al peperoncino, vaniglia, cannella, caffè. In bocca è piena, corposa, dolce, con finale amarognolo e piccante. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Caotica e grezza, ma interessante e ben fatta.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa Spicy surprise. I could maybe say that there's way too much of chili but fine. Good enough and nice warming alcohol. Cheers!

Almost totally black with not too much of a mocha head that shows scarse retention and little lacing. Aroma has strong coffee and peppery/spicy notes with a slight hint of roasted malts in the back. It's very intense but not very fine or interesting. Taste is pretty much just overpowering chilli. The very first sips show some signs of coffee and chocolate, but then your mouth gets just burned with chilli, with a persistent, dominant spicy aftertaste. Medium to dense in body with quite low carbonation, feelin too empty/watery for an imperial stout. Again, it's probably because you don't feel anything but chilli, except for a little alcoholic warmth. You don't make a good beer by just adding ingredients, you need to find a balance.

Bottle from a trade. Many thanks! Black colour, brown foam. Nose of roasted malts, vanilla, some sweetness. Taste is roasty, coffee, lots of vanilla and cinnamon, light peppery hints, too much cocoa. A well made beer but not my cup of tea.
