Bottle.Dark copper colour with no head.Aroma of marzipan and bourbon nice sweet with hint of dark dried fruits and toasted caramel nice and we'll balanced beer.

375ml bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful brown, clear but with beautiful color variations. Aroma is pervasive, of nuts, dry fruits, malt, caramel, bourbon. Body is not thick as expected, nor sticky as you would expect. Carbonation is very limited. Taste is delicate, with moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Final is fairly long and sour. Overall, very elegant, a little light on mouth.

Flaska från Mikkeller webshop, från 2016(?). Mörk kopparbrun med liten smutsvit krona. Massor av torkad frukt, kanderade äpplen, knäck, bourbon, pomerans, fat, vanilj, mycket kandisocker, lätt nötig ton, smörkola, nästan lite jästiga belgotoner som från en quad. Sött, men inte överdrivet. Stor och kletig kropp med imponerande tryck för att ligga under 10%. Kraftfull men balanserad och prickar det mesta man kan önska sig av en bourbon-lagrad, klassisk BW. Mycket gott!

KYG 291218. Amber color with a beige head. Flavor is bourbon, raisin, dried fruits, malt, bread, pine, toffee, vanilla, oak, alcohol. Very nice beer.

Bottle. A hazy amber colored beer with a finger-thick, dense light beige head. The aroma is quite intense, lightly boozy, with dried fruits, caramel, bread notes, piney hops and a toffee hint. It's full-bodied, warming and soft on the palate, with a nice bitterness to deal with the malty sweetness. Caramel, bread, nutty hints and dried apricots in the flavor. Everlasting finish. A quite delicious beer indeed, but a bit too warming and boozy. 181229

0,05l from bottle shared at Blabaer wait. Purplish / copper color, very small head. Smells dried fruit, marzipan, nutty, earthy, wood, light coconut, citric, musty. Nice smell. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of dried fruits, nutty, marzipan, earthy, coconut, light wood. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of dried fruits, coconut and nutty notes. Loved the taste, smell is a bit all over the place. But overall lovely beer

Big bottle kindly shared by Finn. Hazed orange body appearance. Spotty lacing from a filmy layer. Sweet aroma of toffee, vanilla and wood. Mid-sweet caramel taste character joined by syrup and oak vanilla. Bourbon backbone that lingers for quite a while. Fine depth. Decent aperitif drink with friends at Finn's place.
