A bright & lively grisette-style farmhouse ale brewed with malted wheat & spelt, finished with brettanomyces claussenii, aged on 500 pounds of local strawberries (northern neck, va), then dry-hopped with galaxy. brewed in collaboration with our friends from cloudwater brew co. (Manchester, England).

Poured at Shelton Festival, hazy orange pink with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strawberry seed, wheat, floral. Thin body, tart strawberry, wheat, yeast, light finish, very nice.

Draft at ChurchKey. Hazy pinkish yellow color white head. Dusty berry aroma. Taste is lightly tart peppery dusty strawberries. Tasty.

Shelton Brothers pours. Pours a hazy rose color with a half finger of foam that lingers. Wild strawberry dominates the nose with some light lemon yogurt and raspberry notes. Clean and crisp on the palate good some lacto creaminess and tart berry. Dry finish. Lovely!

Tap. Pours hazy pale peach pink, medium white head, some lacing. Aroma is super funky, strawberry. Flavor is light tart, mega funk, cheesy. Light body.

4 oz pour on draft at Bluejacket, pre-Snallygaster. Hazy pinkish orange with off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit and stone fruit. Tastes of tart stone fruit, grapefruit. Light body with a dry finish. Pretty tasty.

Draft at Bluejacket. Poured a pale, pretty clear pink-red color with a small white head. Aroma was light, fresh cut strawberries. Flavor was similar in that it was very similar to strawberry-rhubarb pie. Pretty light and refreshing.

I really enjoy this one. Light, well balanced strawberry with an interesting malt profile from the spelt. Hazy pink pour without much head or lacing. Tangy finish with a big raw grain note. Tap at brewpub.
