Draft @ the brewery. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy weak yeasty caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Draft at the brewery. Nose is dried plums, some yeasty sweetness, and a hint of citrusy hops (like a Belgian ale but not nearly as strong an aroma (small Belgian I guess)). Rusty amber with a small beige head. Flavor is dark fruit, some candisugar sweetness, and yeast.

On tap at Alesmith. Pours with a hazed brown hued body with a retentive off-white head with great lace. Aromas are of plums, dark fruit, nutty, some hazelnut, prune, malty and estery. Flavors are of prunes, nutty, malty, molasses, dark fruit and dark candi sugar. Fuller carbonation, medium dry with some fruity and tobacco notes in the finish.
