Loza, our fresh hop saison brewed last September with the team at Varietal. Based in the hop capital of the world, Yakima Valley, Chris and his team brought over Wet Comet and Freshly Kilned Citra from Loza Farms that we added hot side on brew day. With a simple grain recipe of Pilsen and malted White Wheat from LINC Malt and dry hopped with HBC 1019 and Comet Pellet Hops, Loza is a hop forward saison showcasing the many reasons we love brewing beer in Washington Sate.
Fermented for two months in stainless, and resting in bottles for seven months, Loza presents notes of creamsicle, lemon grass and honeysuckle, and intertwined with tropical aromas from the hops and stone fruit from our house yeast culture.

On tap at Fair Isle. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Tons of doughy fresh hops, bright pine, and a rustic saison yeast on the nose. Flavour has a nice rustic saison yeast with soft doughy hops, fresh pine, a bit dank. Very nice.

Pale and hazy. Dryish, some hop bitterness. Clean pale malt. Nice, refined bugginess.

750mL bottle batch 1 drunk 8/21/25.
Gushing bottle produces a lemony brass body with a big, white head.
Fruity, round, easygoing Brett. Comet hops I guess. Berry and citrus rind. Funky and earthy with light band aid.
Fruit, earthy, funky, lots of sulfur. Lemon and tangerine with Brett and mineral. Tart, malty, attenuated. Wheat and chewy textures with fruity, citrus forward hops.

On tap at Ridgewood, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of oak, citrusy hops, some light dankness, and cereal graininess. Flavour is much the same, with lots of oak, citrusy hops, and cereal grains. Nice combo of oak and hops, finishing lightly tart and oaky. Very good.
