Solid bourbon amber, full of caramel and apple notes backed up by bourbon, vanilla, oak, and a gentle bitterness. Balanced; the amber isn’t overpowered by the whiskey. Nice.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, red color, with a small, bubbly, beige head. The aroma is oak, caramelized sugar, toast, cherry, and some earth. Sweet and sugary, with a mildly unpleasant bitterness. Pretty nice.

Draft at My Friend’s Growler Shop. Aroma has vanilla, subtle coconut. Taste has more vanilla, very light tannins. It’s a beer first, not a bourbon, which is great.
