Bottle, 4.7%. Hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, spices, cinnamon and herbs. Flavour is malt, rhubarb, berries, dessert, cinnamon, sweet, little citric and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Johns. Pours golden with a white head, light lacings. Aroma malt, light sweet, light spicy, tart fruity, rhubarb. Flavor is light sweet, light tart, malt, spice, cinnamon, tart rhubarb. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, light sweet and light tart finish. 301216

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours hazy amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of rhubarb, sugar, ripe apples and cookies. Taste of rhubarb, some cherry, sugar and apples, interesting and good!

From tap at Craftbeer Corner, Cologne. Light hazy orange color with off white head. Yeasty and light malty aroma, spicy-herbal and vegetables notes, light citrusy fruity, caramel, light bread, wood. Sweet and light acidic taste. Light thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

0.5 l bottle from ’Rudat’, best before September 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, quite fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity and moderately spicy aroma of rhubarb, cinnamon, banana, cloves and peach. Moderately sour, slightly sweetish, quite fruity and a bit spicy taste of rhubarb, cinnamon, some vanilla, a bit of peach and hints of clove, followed by a medium long, moderately tart finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. I thought that a rhubarb pie beer would be a stupid idea, but who am I! It turns out to be quite tasty, although I don’t really get the pie flavours. Nice one!

Bottle from Rudat. Interesting spicy nose like cinnamon or other herbs. The rhubarb is there, sourish-fruity with grain in the background. The beer starts exactly like this nose. Great fruity spicy with a round and refreshing sourness. Malty caramel, sour-fruity rhubarb, smooth and refreshing! A very great (and only moderate bitter) brew - very interesting and full of aroma!
