Amber cloudy color, small white head. smells of red currant cake, berry notes, sweet spices, doughy. rather nice smell. light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. taste .. again red currant cake, doughy, light berry notes, light sweetness, lightly herbal. finishes very lightly bitter with notes of red currant cake. very nice and interesting one, not sure I would drink a whole glass, but overall nice stuff. 7, 4, 7, 3, 14

Draft @ Il Locale - Italian Craft Beer, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity weak sour rhubarb aroma. Fruity sour rhubarb flavor. Has a fruity sour tart rhubarb finish.

Bottle shared. Clear golden orange with a ring white head. Aroma definitely rhubarb pie, with chai, citric notes, green apple and spices. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Clear orange golden with small head. Almonds, rhubarb, strawberries, vanilla, light malts, light cinnamon. Does taste like rhubarb pie actually. Just medium sweet and sour. Under medium bodied. Nice!

Rhubarb. Dull amber, yeasty aroma with a fair bit of rhubarb. On the palate the rhubarb is pretty strong. Sort of a creamy, milky body. Quite a bit of yeastiness. Interesting character, really, tart and sweet at the same time, the two dimensions never really connecting.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear amber red with sediment, beige head. Quite a unique, hard to describe aroma - like a caramelized jam made of tart fruit (rhubarb, I suppose), with notes of hygienic lipstick. The taste has a rhubarb or young grape vine like tartness, and some fruit seed funky bitterness, balanced by subtle cakey sweetness - without being actually sweet, butter cookies. Some salt in the aftertaste. Unique and so well dialed in.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Freigeist / Birrificio Italiano Mamma Mia ].Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, rhubarb, rhubard pie - vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, rhubarb, vanilla, sweet malt, fruity. 500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark pinkish red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of rhubarb pie, with medium sweetness. Flavour is very fruity, with lots of rhubarb pie, a little cinnamon, and light sweetness. Loads of pie on the finish. Nice stuff.
