Pours hazy amber with a thick white head. Aroma of toasted malt. Taste burnt malt notes, nice hop bite from cascade. Palate has pine resin, pine needles and citrus. Good.

Can on the train home, the mighty 12, 31/07/18. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is caramel, grassy notes, orange peel, biscuit, light breads. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, citric tinged straw, grassy bite, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with moderate grassy hop bitterness. Passable easy drinking APA but Alpine are a shadow of their former selves from 4 or 5 years ago.

Can at home. A good pour and a fruity hoppy aroma. The first sip surprised the hell out of me as this tasted exactly like an English bitter! Where did that come from? It was very drinkable with all of the malt and well balanced with hops.

Golden colour with thin lacy head. Aroma and flavour have light malty sweetness. Tastes a bit bland. Almost stale or old. Not awful but for the style it's not clean or fresh enough.

355ml can from Beer Republic. No BBE info. Pours clear golden orange with a small head. Aroma of caramely malts, pine, grass, old hops, cardboard and resin. Taste is sweet, malty and caramely with some old hops, grass, pine, resin and toffee. Finish is sweet, grainy and earthy with some old hops, loads of caramely malts, resin and some piney notes. Doesn't feel very fresh, unfortunately.

Off white fluffy head left a decent cover on a still, translucent, light copper coloured body. Spice, pine, peach & Haribos aroma. Medium to thin bodied, prickly to the fore with a smooth soft back & clean aft. Bitter piney tastes with peach, citrus & zest. Very clean & refreshing.
