This special edition of Broken Dream is brewed with our very own bourbon barrel aged coffee. We source the finest green beans, aged them in wet barrels for at least 12 months before roasting in small batches when required. We experimented with the coffee in 'Blacklight Banana' - but this full batch of Broken Dream really allows the flavour to shine through.

Interesting. Fizzy cola feel, nice coffee roastines in the aroma, and then in the taste. Taste has some more sweetness, the bourbon I guess. Feels a lot easier drinking than expected. Not so heavy and good taste for the strength.

Bottle, 6.5%. OK coffee aroma. Black colour, seems hazy. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour has some coffee, a mild sweetness, and some ashy notes. The latter are not problematic, though. Well-balanced. Flavourful without being boozy or sugary.

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Dark aroma of roast and coffee, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Bitterish, roasty taste with notes of coffee and dark chocolate and touches of yeast and barrel. Lingering coffeelike and roasty aftertaste with notes of malt. Creamy mouthfeel. Very good.

Very dark brown pour with a lively but short-lived, thin tan head. Notes of caramel, chocolate, sweet coffee, smooth bourbon (more in the smell than anything else), light roast, light smoke. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, bitter-sweet finish. Very easy to drink and quite well-balanced.

Bottle at home. Black with no head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, coffee, vanilla, hazlenut, roasted marshmallows. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body and soft fizz. Light but rich coffee stout, very nice.
