Gravitational Lens returns for another rotation around the sun. A Quayle’s fan-favourite seasonal release, brewing this jet-black, high-proof Imperial Stout has become an end-of-year tradition for us, and we want to share that tradition with you and yours this holiday season.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a small dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some bourbon notes with vanilla and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some bourbon notes and vanilla with faint residual sugar notes. Body is about average with and good carbonation with no real discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable but nothing earth shattering.

A dark brown stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, alcohol warmth, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, alcohol warmth, pleasant.
