We started brewing in the kitchen of Larry's early 1900s farmhouse in - you guessed it - the sunflower state. What better way to turn that history into beer than with Kansas Malting Company grains, sunflower seeds in the mash, and sunflower petals in place of aroma hops. The perfect beer for a hot summer's day!

The taste is softly sweet malt, the herbal, a touch of lime, straw earth, nut and big lingering Belgian yeast floral notes. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the yeast herbal finish. Solid.
