Sagardoa is the traditional Basque apple wine. On the palate, it affirms its character mixing intense flavors and slight acidity of the apple. The sagardoa is not sparkling but it reserves a slight natural effervescence which accentuates the feeling of freshness. It is slightly sweet.

75cl bottle from Kupela, Anglet. Pours a misty yellow, loose white bubbles atop. Exceptionally tangy and crisp, moderately sour with a very distant cheesiness, finishing dry, very natural tasting. A touch more fruitiness would've been welcome.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6%. Pale golden colour, pours slightly sparkling, no head. Aroma of cider apples, hints of oak and sulphites. Minimal carbonation in the mouth. Flavour of cider apples, mid between dry and sweet, light bodied.
