However, what made this creation stand out was the brilliant fresh coffee beans. This time we decided to use the fantastic 'Sítio Canaa' coffee from the iconic Danish coffee roaster La Cabra. This beauty, grown by Denilson Corsi da Silva on his Brazilian farm 'Cerrado Mineiro', is characterized most by a sweet milk chocolate aroma, with some soft fruitiness.
We are very excited that we managed to transfer these wonderful notes to our #MokaExpress. Coffeeish' gem. Enjoy.

Can day 12 beer from Loz's advent calendar that I curated, picked up in Zagreb this year. Had this on day 25, so 25th December, Christmas Day after a short but extremely cold 🥶 6km loop hike to Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schofweg. Watching the latest Stranger Things on Netflix. We had Za'atar Roasted Squash with Spiced Yoghurt and Pickled Chillies also Quince and Pomegranate Glazed Pork also Lamb and Feta Börek and cous cous and finally Baba Ganoush. Pours pitch black, oily, smooth, lots of coffee, milky, creamy. Roasty and coffee floods through again, and reasonably well hidden, sweetness not so, pretty good but a bit of a one trick pony. Score 7.0

Can, 0.5l. Pitch black pour, three finger creamy brown head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Nose is roasted malt, coffee, cocoa. Wood notes in the background.
Full body, soft to medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, creamy, chewy, sticky. Quite enjoyable. Roasty bittersweet taste, more pronounced sweetness in the background. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, cocoa. Bready notes, licorice, dark fruits. Woody. Sugary sweetness, molasses. Liquory, warming alcohol. Very sticky. Latte aftertaste. Long lasting finish, quite dry, roasty coffee bitterness with long lasting sweet notes.
Quite tasty.

Limenka 0,5L - kupčjena u CB Krigla - auuu. Gusto, tamno, s malo smeđe pjene.
Pomalo latkasto i čokoladno s udarom kave.
Nisam ljubitelj okusa kave u ičemu ali ovo je baš odlično posloženo...

0.5 l can shared with Marko. Dark brown, small brownish head. Intense coffee, chocolate, charred wood, toasty malts and some green pepper. Thick, sticky, sweet, chocolate flavour, roasty, nutty, some coffee in the finish. Alcohol hidden. A bit sweet, smooth, cloying, not too heavy. Finishes sweet.
